Dr. Karr grew up here. She and her husband both graduated from Munster High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and a minor in Preprofessional Studies at Purdue University. While at Purdue, she was recognized for highest distinction and was awarded Research & Development Excellence. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University. Dr. Karr completed her specialized pediatric training at the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital Pediatric Residency Program. After graduation, she returned home and Pediatric Dental Care was born.
She loves spending time with her husband and their two daughters. She also enjoys healthy eating and fitness.

Dr. Shah is a Chicagoland native who left the Windy City to complete her D.D.S degree at New York University. Her passion for treating children led her to complete a Pediatric Dental Residency at Staten Island Hospital. After years of working with kids of all backgrounds on the East Coast, she moved back to her hometown, where she currently lives with her husband. After training and working in many of New York City’s diverse boroughs, Dr. Lori is excited to be back in the Midwest and serving the community where she grew up.
When she’s not helping kids with their dental needs, you’ll find Dr. Shah exploring restaurants with her husband, attending a yoga class, or spending time volunteering at her local dog shelter. Dr. Shah is also an active member of the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Nisha has always enjoyed working with children. She cultivated her skill set while at University of California Los Angeles. At UCLA, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and went on to complete her pediatric dental residency. Knowing that her true home was back in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Nisha moved back for this next chapter of her life. Her favorite part about pediatric dentistry is working with families as a team. Dr. Nisha remains an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nisha is a board member of a non-profit which brings oral hygiene instruction to underserved communities. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, friends and her dog.
